Replace Clips

Open the clips and use combination pliers to bend one bracket outwards -
Grasp the snap-on lid and... -
remove from the brackets -
Unfasten the upper clip -
as well as the lower one -
Bend the wire of the retaining clip, -
Remove it from the leather piece using pliers -
If you are only replacing the cap of the same clip, leave the original wire component in place -
Take apart a brand-new clip as shown and bend the wire to create an opening, -
so that it can be slid into the leather part. -

Bend the wire back to its original position -
Insert the hanger hook into the lower clip -
Hold the bottom part down and... -
Insert the upper clip piece -
Press down on the upper clip -
Insert the clip cover into the side eyelet that is not bent -
Now bend the eyelet that was bent at the beginning back into shape -
All the pieces have been put back together. -
Clip closed
