Information about our materials and colors:
Quality is our top priority!
We use only the highest-quality fabrics, leather, and other materials. Using these high-quality materials, we produce durable products that you’ll enjoy for years to come.
Cowhide - knitted:
- Our leathers are of European origin, fully dyed through, and durable!
- Used on the sleeves and shoulders of jackets and as button facings.
- Care: It’s best to treat the leather parts of new garments with leather spray so that dirt doesn’t stick as easily and they can be cleaned easily after prolonged use; always let them air out.
Suede:
- It’s really just the reverse side of our leather.
- It’s used in the sleeve grip area as an anti-slip aid or, if desired, as a lining at the point where the cuff meets the shoulder.
- Do not spray the area under the support arm; if necessary, roughen it up slightly after some time using a coarse sponge or a fine brass brush.
Top-Grip:
- The proven anti-slip material for all padding and the heel cap area.
- Consists of small elements made of pure rubber that are vulcanized onto a backing material.
- Very slip-resistant, very durable, and hard-wearing.
- Can be wiped down with a damp cloth; please make sure the butt plate is not made of raw aluminum, as it will corrode through any material - whether Top-Grip or canvas!
Canvas / Double Canvas:
- Canvas is actually the English term for sailcloth, or fabric woven in a plain weave. For shooting apparel, very heavy, thick cotton fabrics are always used. The stiffness is achieved through a finish.
- Breathable and can adapt slightly to the shooting stance.
- Care: Always air out the garment after shooting, as the fabric absorbs sweat, which softens the finish. Not washable. If necessary, treat with upholstery foam or wipe with a damp cloth.
- Double canvas: This is a two-layer, finished canvas, where the colored fabric is typically used on the outside and the natural white fabric on the inside. It provides good support during the shooting stance.
